Generally, individuals may be eligible for early release of superannuation for dental treatment if they are experiencing financial hardship due to unexpected and unreasonable dental expenses that cannot be met from their current financial resources. This may include expenses for necessary dental treatment that has been recommended by a medical practitioner, and which cannot be delayed.
